How it works
Updated 13 Oct 2026
Four steps, from your invoice to rupees in your account.
Steps#
- 1
Invoice
You invoice the payer as usual. We give you a payment link with local account details for their country to send with it.
- 2
Local payment
The payer makes an ordinary bank transfer in their own currency, inside their own country.
- 3
Conversion and transfer
Our licensed partner receives the local currency, converts it at the mid-market rate, and sends it to India. You can see which stage it has reached.
- 4
Credit
Rupees are credited to your current account in India, less our fee. The FIRA follows.
Worked example#
A clinic in Nairobi pays a $4,500 referral fee. At today's rates:
| Step | Amount |
|---|---|
| Clinic pays, in Kenya | KES 583,334 |
| Converted at mid-market | ₹4,28,936 |
| Pleny fee (1%) | − ₹4,289 |
| Credited to you | ₹4,24,647 |
The 1% fee is indicative while pricing is finalised. You get a written quote before your first payment. Rates are live and change through the day.
